As I told in my last blog, here is the temple sculptures of Tirukurungudi. Unlike Krinapuram  sclputures they are free from net-cover and appear beautiful.

Last Saturday of  Pratasi month is auspicious day for Hindus, particularly Vainavas. They used to go various
Perumal koils (temple). Such a way we also visited each temple on every saturday in Pratasi ; and decided to
go Nambi malai & Thirukurungudi. The aera is belonged to forest department and allowed in particular times. Jeep only can climb up the path and hired jeeps available there.

At last after 3 hours in the rough path

for 4 km away we reached the temple in the forest. There is a long queue for dharsen; we had

2 hours to wait & ender into the temple. But the authorities of temple made a neat arrengement.

From that place we enjoy the foot of the hill and nearby towns.

 

At foot of the hill our car as waited with driver, and we were proceeding to Thirukurungudi temple.
On our return, I captured the hill atmosphere in my camera. We stepped down reached the main
temple and worshiped the Perumals in standing, sitting and lying positions.

In the far most Mahaendrakiri is seen, front of it the Nambi malai is seen.The Thirukurungudi temple
has many beautiful sculptures please to see. Number of visiters used to visit for that purpose only,
including many foreigners.  Description of some sculptures in a seperate blog, in the next one.

I wish to greet my Muslim pals of TVMC today on behalf of Bakrid, So I was searching a suitable picture to make a greeting card. Finally I choose one from Pizable. I was very hard to download &
make a card.
                   Above all, I made a blunder, the word "eid" I type "ed" only. More I did not notice the space for my name.

We went last Friday, to Ayekudinear to Tenkasi. The famous Murugan temple, I eagerly wait for visit there; now only I had the chance. We first went Tenkasi where a patient cum relative live there adjusent to Kasiviswanather temple. From the backyard of their house, I got a nice snap of tower, which was builted recently.

Next we went to Ayekudi.

It is a nice place situated at the foot of Westeren Guard between hills.

We had furtune to witness the Silver Charoit of temple on this occasion.

 Muruganakku Arroharae !!!!!!

No peace of mind on 26-4-2014,Saturday, Sani Prathosam. KM suggeated to go Kodaganallur Sivan koil for the poojai. I did so by going there at about 5:00 pm.We had nice dharsan and nice prasathems amidst all
devotees.I got some snaps on it.

usa visit 2013-II

 We arrived London airport at 2:30 pm and rushed to another gate where Boston flight left.  But five of us were delayed to board into the plane,due to check Maragatham's hand luggage.So again we were troubled in London airport. The authorities advised to wait next Boston flight, at 6:00 pm and gave one coupon worth as 5 pounds on which we could any refreshment from the stalls of airport.We did thus and waited there. Due to lack of facility to convey our stagnant here to our sons.

Finally we boarded into the flight going to Boston.

It arrived at 7:30 pm.

Vichu,Pushpa & kalyan were waiting there and we reached Nashua by car.

USA visit,2013.

We, myself ,Maragatham and grand daughter, Kalyani started &reached airport at Chennai at 2:30am,30-4-'13. But the flight was delayed for 3 hours in starting,  we had to wait there after checking processes. We had breakfast in the airport itself at 7:30am.. Meantime my camera engaged surroundings.At last our flight came at 8 o'clock and we were allowed to board. I missed the seat near window which was occupied my grand daughter.

Along with us Dr.Velayutham, son-in-law of Dr.Balu also came upto London.
