NANDHI KALABAM

                      Every year in the month of August,(Adi, last Friday) we celebrate speial pooja on Nandhi at our village, Sivasailam. This year also we assembled there.The nandhi was adorned with sandal paste & floral garlands.

Last July 22, we went Chadurvedi managalam, near Chermadevi . This one is marked by Kalki in his famous novel, Ponniyin selvan as the capital of ancient Pandiyan empire.This ancient temple is lacked by Indian Archaeological Department now for safety to sculptures. 

Vanathirupathi

July 2012, Valli from La's Vegas came and we went Vanathirupathi,near Kurumbur. Since we reached there

in the fore-night, after swami dhardhan , we gathered in front of camara.

Vallakottai Murugan temple

Recently we visit Vallakottai, near Sriperumputhur some kilometer away from Chennai.The murugan temple is a

famour one, having six feet height statue in Karupagiruham.I got many snaps there, among which dancing peacock and others....Our new car also seen in the foreground of temple.

Vanathirupathi, near Thiruchandur.

Recently we visit Vanathirupathi Venkatachalapathy koil, built by Sri.Rajagopal, founder of Saravana
Bhavan groups near his native village, adjsent his pannai, Punnai Nager.It is very beautiful & expencive.
Looks like the temples in USA, he built this temple with interest.
Really is a worth place to see & enjoy this picnic spot.

Nellaiapper koil.

These pictures were taken in our town, Tirunelveli on a fine morning.The majestic tower is seen on the threshold of Nellaiapper temple which is bigger than Madurai Meenaksht temple in area-wise.
